  • Best paper award on 17th July 2009 by Indian Building Congress, New Delhi for the paper titled “Sources of Indoor Air Pollution from Organic Compounds and Control Measures” which was presented in Mid Term Session and Seminar on “Environmental Protection in Building Industry” held by IBC at Nagpur on January 9-10, 2009.
  • “ICMR International Fellowship for Young Bio-Medical Scientists for 2011-12”. Under this fellowship I have executed a pre-designed research project titled “Characterization of Diesel Exhaust Particulates and associated Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in high-traffic zone of Detroit city” under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Stuart Batterman, Prof. Of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Head-Center for Occupational Health & Safety Engineering, Dept. of Environmental Health Sciences, School of Public Health, University of Michigan, City of Ann Arbor-48105 2029, Michigan, USA during 01-01-2012 to 30-06-2012.

Air sampling and analysis of particulates (PM10,2.5, 1.0 & nanopartilces), inorganic gaseous pollutants (CO2, CO, SO2, NO2, H2S, CS2, Phosgene, HCl, Cl2, HCN, Ozone etc.,), air toxics such as VOCs, PAHs, Isocyanates, PCBs, PBDEs in ambient & occupational envirionments; Biological monitoring for chemical exposures (urinary fluoride for Fluorine exposure, urinary t,t-MA & SPA for benzene exposure, urinary 1-hydroxypyrene for Benzo(a)pyrene-PAH exposures etc.,)
